2020: Indoor - Competed at six meets for Wichita State … Finished 14th in the long jump at the AAC Championships … Threw down two season-best marks at the Arkansas Qualifier … Ran a season-best time of 7.95 in the 60 meters … Jumped a season-best mark of 5.51m/18-1 in the long jump at the Arkansas Qualifier … Finished eighth at the Triangular’s long jump … Competed in the 60 meters’ prelims and long jump at the Jayhawk Classic … Finished fifth at the Air Force Team Challenge in the long jump … Participated in the long jump at the Gorilla Classic.Â

2019: Indoor - Completed her first pentathlon as a Shocker placing seventh with 2,973 points at the Shocker Multi on Dec. 1...Recorded a personal best 60m hurdles time of 9.47 at the Air Force Invitational...Ran a personal best 200m (26.31) at the Fourth Annual Gorilla Classic on Feb. 9...Competed in the 60m hurdles (9.77), long jump (5.22m/17-1.5) and as a member of the 4x400m (4:06.55) at the Arkansas Qualifier...Placed 21st in the long jump at the American Athletic Conference Championships with a mark of 5.23m/17-2.
Outdoor - Entered the long jump competition in six meets...Opened the season finishing fifth at the Herm Wilson Invitational with a leap of 5.50m/18-0.5...Jumped 5.39m/17-8.25 at the Texas State Bobcat Invitational and 5.32m/17-5.5 at the K.T. Woodman Classic...Finished second at the Shocker Open jumping 5.65m/18-6.5...Set a personal best long jump mark of 5.70m/18-8.5 finishing ninth at the American Athletic Conference Championships.
2018: Did not compete due to injury.
2017: Redshirted.
High School: Was second in the 2015 KSHSAA 6A long jump, and in 2016 was fourth in the 200 meters and seventh in the long jump… Placed all four years in the Top 10 in the long jump (7th, 5th, 2nd, 7th)… Helped her 4x400 meter team win four-straight state titles… High School Personal Bests - 25.40 in the 200 meters and 18-3.25 in the long jump… Lettered in track and field four years and volleyball three years… Was All Area in 2015 and all-Sunflower League in 203, 2014 and 2015… also All-Metro in 2014… Helped her relay teams break school records in the 4x100 meters, 4x400 meters and sprint medley relay… Helped her team to a State Championship in 2015.
Personal: Daughter of Dan and Kathy Severa… Has a brother, Kieran Severa, and sisters Kaeia Varberg and Kendyll Severa… Kieran played football at Drake, and Kendyll played volleyball at St. Edwards University… Also has as relatives Dean Magee (hockey) and Kyle Petersen (baseball)… Also recruited by Drake, Pitt State and Emporia State.
