Biography
Career Summary (2017-21):
Four-year walk-on saw time in 19 games and totaled six points, five rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes of action… Helped the Shockers to their first American Athletic Conference regular season title in 2021... Was part of two NCAA tournament teams (2018 & 2021) and an NIT semifinalist (2019)... Never participated in a loss, going 19-0 over four seasons… Brother of another former walk-on Zach Bush (2012-17). Over a stretch of nine-straight years with a Bush on the roster, WSU went 218-66 with five conference titles and seven NCAA tournament appearances… Consistent academic performer became just the fifth Shocker men’s basketball player to make the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in every semester of his career and twice qualified for the NABC Honors Court.

2020-21 (Senior):
Saw time in three games and was an energy guy on the bench and in practice… Grabbed a rebound and clocked two minutes in a senior day win over South Florida (Mar. 6) that clinched the conference regular season championship… Scored three points on a field goal and a free throw in three minutes against Newman (Dec. 30)... Made his season debut in the Dec. 18 win over Emporia State... Fall 2020 Athletic Director’s Honor Roll qualifier.
2019-20 (Junior):
Played in eight games -- all at home -- and totaled two rebounds and two assists in 11 minutes of action... Banked an assist against Abilene Christian (Dec. 29)... Appeared in four November contests... Collected his first career assist on Nov. 16 against UT Martin -- the last of 29 registered by the Shockers that day... Grabbed a rebound while clocking two minutes in the Nov. 19 win over Gardner-Webb... Named to the NABC Honors Court (upperclassmen with cumulative GPA higher than 3.20)... Qualified for the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll (3.00+ GPA in 2019-20).

2018-19 (Sophomore):
Saw time in four games, spanning seven minutes... Played a career-high four minutes in the first round AAC Tournament win over ECU (Mar. 14)... Logged two minutes in the home finale against ECU (Mar. 5)... Played the final minute in WSU’s 81-60 win at Tulsa (Feb. 20)... Saw his first action of the year in the final seconds of a home win over Rice (Nov. 25)... Qualified for the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll (3.00+ GPA in 2018-19).
2017-18 (Freshman):
Appeared in four games, totaling three points in nine minutes… Hit his only shot attempt – a three-pointer in the final minutes of a 112-66 win over Savannah State (Nov. 28)… Logged time in conference home wins over USF (Jan. 7) and UConn (Feb. 10)... Hit a free throw and played three minutes in the exhibition win over Newman... Qualified for the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll (3.00+ GPA in 2017-18).
