2018: Indoor - Competed in seven meets, a total of 15 races...Won the Shocker Prelude 600m in a personal best 1:35.78...Recorded three top-5 finishes at the Herm Wilson Invitational, winning the 600m (1:36.43), second in the 4x400m (4:01.95) and fifth in the 200m (26.01)...Ran a 58.17 400m to finish fifth at the Nebraska Tune-Up...Ran in three races at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, including a ninth place finish in the DMR (12:24.22) and 10th place in the 4x400m (3:56.61).
Outdoor - Competed in five meets...Was part of the 4x100m team that finished fifth at the Arkansas Spring Invitational with a time of 46.94...Was part of two relays that recorded third place finishes at the Emporia State Relays, 4x100m in 47.20 and 4x400m in 4:11.45...Ran in the 4x100m that finished second at the Central Missouri Mule Relays in 47.01 and third at the Texas Tech Corky/Crofoot Shootout in 47.08...Recorded two top-10 finishes at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships in the 4x100m (46.66) and 4x400m (3:55.60).
2017: Indoor - Set a personal best 55.65 in the 400m at the Gorilla Classic...Finished first in the 400m at the Bill Easton Classic (57.75), Herm Wilson Invitational (56.75), and Steve Miller Open (57.31)...Part of the 4x400m that had five top three finishes, including a third place finish at the MVC Indoor Championships.
Outdoor - Finished second as part of the 4x100m relay team at the Emporia State Relays and 4x400m relay team at the John Jacobs Invitational...Ran a personal best 25.21 in the 200m at the Arkansas Spring Invitational.
2016: Indoor - Finished
22nd in the 400 meters at the MVC Championship... Set a personal best in the 400 meters at the Colligan Memorial with a time of 57.30.
Outdoor- Ran in the 200 meters and 400 meters two and three times, respectively... Personal best in the 200 meters was 25.74 and best 400 meters outdoors was 57.44 twice.
High School: State champion in the 100, 200, and 400 meters, as well as sprint medley relay as a senior for St. Ansgar High School in 1A-2A… High School bests were 12.14 in the 100 meters, 24.59 in the 200 meters, 54.65 in the 400 meters and 2:14 in the 800 meters… State runner-up in the 100, 200, 400, and 800 meters in her junior year… Ran the fourth-fastest 400 time and 15th-fastest 200 time in Iowa history… Also broke the 2A 100 meter record with a 12.14… Helped her track and field team to two conference titles, and fifth at State as a junior and fifth as a senior… Lettered four years in track and field, four in softball, three in basketball and two in volleyball… Was all-conference three times in softball, twice in basketball and once in volleyball… Earned multiple All-State and Iowa girls High School Athletic Union Excellence in Academics awards.
Personal: Daughter of Steve and Deanna Halfman… Has a brother Cael and sister, Lia… Also recruited by Minnesota, UNI and Minnesota-Mankato... Is majoring in Exercise Science.
