SENIOR (2019)

Leaves Wichita State as a four-year starter at shortstop and one of the program's best players to come through Wichita... Picked up her second straight First Team All-Conference selection... Finishes her career tied for the most home runs in program history with 39... Her name is littered throughout the all-time career charts at Wichita State... Wichita State career ranks after graduation: slugging percentage (5th, .553), doubles (6th, 38), runs scored (T-6th, 136), RBI (2nd, 141), total bases (4th, 338) and assists (4th, 461)... Started all 56 games at shortstop for the third straight season... Led the team and the conference in runs scored with 44... Third on the team in home runs with seven and tied for fourth in RBI with 30... Second in doubles with 10... Chosen for the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on March 4... Had 10 multi-hit games and eight games with multiple runs batted in... Registered her first career multi-home run game against Texas Southern (March 2) to go with a career-high five RBI... Three straight games with multiple hits against Pitt, Southeast Missouri and Abilene Christian... Went 2-for-2 in the series opener against Nebraska with a home run, two RBI and three runs scored... JUNIOR (2018)
Started all 55 games at shortstop... One of three Shockers to start all 55 games... First Team All-Conference selection who hit .290 on the season... Led the American Athletic Conference and Wichita State during conference play in home runs (11) and assists... Slugging percentage of .540... Second on the team with 36 RBI's... Offensive highlights include two-run walk off home run vs. UCF and a three-run home run at No. 4 Oklahoma... Led the team in assists with 117... Had 14 multi-hit games and nine games of two or more RBI's... Drove in a season-high five runs at Creighton on March 17... Had a season-best 13 game hitting streak from March 10 - March 29... Went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Wichita State's opening game of the Fayetteville Regional vs. Oklahoma State... Hit a solo home run at USF on May 5... Went 2-for-4 with an RBI vs. Oklahoma State on April 18... Belted a home run and drove in three runs in the Shockers' near upset of No. 2 Oklahoma on April 11... Went 2-for-4 with a home run, double and three RBI's in Wichita State's 14-5 win over Tulsa on April 8... Had two hits in three at-bats (home run) and also drove in four runs and scored three runs vs. Memphis on March 24... Went 2-for-3 with a home run and five RBI's at Creighton on March 17... Had a pair of hits, including a homer and three RBI's  vs. Western Illinois on March 10... Had two doubles at Sam Houston State on Feb. 16.

SOPHOMORE (2017)
In 2017, Derrico was one of five players to start all 52 games. In those games, she collected a team-high 13 home runs and also hit nine doubles, for an average of .319. On the year, she collected a slugging percentage of .619 and also was hit by nine pitches. Derrico also led the team on defense with 120 put-outs, and was named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team.

FRESHMAN (2016)
Derrico started 41 games for the Shockers in 2016, with 10 doubles, eight home runs and 28 RBI for a batting average of .297…She committed ten errors on the season for a fielding percentage of .944.
 
CLUB TEAM
Played for Oklahoma Diamond Girls under coach Ken Myers.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Played for the Sterling High School Tigers under coach Marty Curry where she lettered four years in softball and four years in basketball. In her four years there, the Tigers made two appearances in the State quarterfinals, one appearance to the state semifinals and one district championship.
 
PERSONAL
Born in Lawton, Okla., to Gary and Jacqui Derrico…She has two brothers, Cole and David and four sisters, Christie, Loren, Amanda, and Kassidy…Major is undecided.
