2018: Indoor - Competed in five meets, including six top-5 finishes...Was part of the 4x400m team that won the the Shocker Prelude (3:23.67) and Herm Wilson Invitational (3:21.60)...Finished second in the 400m (50.53) at the Herm Wilson Invitational...Earned all-conference honors finishing second as part of the DMR team that ran 10:01.18 at the American Athletic Conference Indoor Championships.
Outdoor - Ran in seven meets, including nine top-5 finishes...Opened the season finishing third in the 400m hurdles (53.30) at the Arkansas Spring Invitational...Was part of the 4x400m team that won the Central Missouri Mule Relays race in 3:15.50...Ran a 52.80 400m hurdles race to finish second at the Shocker Open...Placed fourth overall in the 400m hurdles (51.83) at the American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships...Ran 52.60 to finish 36th in the 400m hurdles at the NCAA West Prelminaries.
2017: Indoor – Placed top five in eight of 12 races he ran...Was part of the 4x400m relay team that had four top five finishes, including a third place finish at the MVC Indoor Championship...Recorded two personal best times in the 400m (49.61) and 600yd (1:14.28).
Outdoor – Had six top five finishes in the 400m hurdles, including a fourth place finish with a personal best 52.00 at the MVC Outdoor Championship...Part of 4x400m relay that had two third place finishes and won the K.T. Woodman Classic...Placed fourth in the 400m hurdles and third in the 4x400m relay at the MVC Outdoor Championship.
2016: Indoor- Had an indoor season-best 51.08 in the 400 meters at the Herm Wilson, and also ran the 600 meters in a time of 1:25.94 at the Mark Colligan.
Outdoor- Placed fourth in the 400 hurdles at the MVC Championship in a time of 52.55, a personal best.
2015: Did not compete in indoor or outdoor competition.
2014: First place in the KSU Wildcat Open in the 400m with a time of 53.45... Personal best in the 400m (50.78) at the Air Force Indoor Team Challenge... Competed in the 2014 MVC Indoor Track & Field Championships as a member of two relays, the 4x400m (3:18.02) and the DMR (10:14.88).
High School: Lettered in basketball and track and field at Wamego High School…State Champion in Kansas Class 4A 300m hurdles and 4x800m relay in 2013... Poe's personal bests in high school included: 14.88 in the 110h, and 39.01 in the 300h... All-Flint Hills Basketball Player of the Year in 2013 and All-State Honorable Mention... All-League basketball in 2012 and 2013... Named to the honor roll all four years.
Personal: Son of Kelvin and Cindy Poe…Has one brother, Kendall... Dad played basketball at Kansas State, and brother played football at Butler County CC... Majoring in Engineering Technology.
