2016: Outdoor/Indoor: Earned his third overall high jump All-MVC honor with a third-place finish at the MVC Outdoor Championship... Was fourth at the Indoor Championship... Season bests in indoor and outdoor were 6-11/2.11m... Qualified for the Outdoor West Preliminary for the third time and placed 34th with a height of 6-9.5/2.07m.

2014: Top performance at the KT Woodman Classic with a High Jump of 2.13m earning him the team's top ranked jump of the season...Placed sixth in the 2014 MVC Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a jump of 2.03m. 

2013: Indoor- Cleared the bar at 6-9 at the Air Force Team Challenge to set a new personal best. Finished tied for fifth in the high jump at the MVC Indoor Championships to score points for the Shockers with a jump of 6-6...  Matched this jump to earn a share of fifth place at the Varsity Apartments Invitational. Outdoor- Placed second in the high jump at the MVC Outdoor Championship with a jump of 6-8... Posted the eighth highest outdoor jump in Shocker history when he cleared 6-11 at the Beach Invitational to finish in second place... Jumped 6-8 to take third at the Track-It-Buster Invitational. 

High School: Finished as runner up in the high jump at the West Virginia State Meet... Took home third place in the event as a junior... Won the OVAC High Jump Championship... Captured three regional championships... Lettered in cross country and track and field four years and lettered in basketball once... High school best was 6-8... Helped his high school to runner-up regional finishes as a sophomore and a junior.

Personal: Born Sept. 12, 1993 in Parkersburg, W.V... Son of Jim and Paula Lynch... Has sister, Katie and a brother, Nicky... Majoring in political science.
