Biography


Career Summary: Three-year walk-on center who redshirted in 2015-16 then played two seasons from 2016-18... Appeared in 23 games over two seasons and totaled 30 points, seven rebounds and three steals in 53 minutes... On a per-40-minute basis, ranks as one of the most productive scorers in program history (22.6 points)... Career 60 percent shooter (15-of-25)... Helped WSU two a pair of NCAA Tournament bids and was a member of the 2016-17 team that swept the Missouri Valley Conference regular season and tournament championships... Elected to transfer after his sophomore season in search of an athletic scholarship and landed at Nebraska-Omaha.

2017-18 (Sophomore): Appeared in six games off the bench and totaled 10 points on 5-of-7 shooting in 14 minutes of action... Sank all three of his shot attempts en route to a career-high six points in the Jan. 11 road win at ECU... Tallied four points in three minutes in the season opener against UMKC.... Served as men's basketball SAAC rep for the second year in a row... Made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both semesters.

2016-17 (RS-Freshman): Walk-on center who performed well in his limited opportunities… Scored 20 points in 39 minutes of action and shot 55.6 percent from the field (10-of-18)… Contributed points in nine of his 17 appearances, with a season-high four points in the season-opening win over Souther Carolina State (Nov. 11)… Set a personal-best with two rebounds against Eastern Shore on Nov. 20… A member of the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll in each of his first four semesters at WSU… Represented the men’s basketball team on WSU’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee… Three-time Dean’s List qualifier (3.5+ GPA).

2015-16 (Freshman): Spent a redshirt year acclimating to Division I basketball… Traveled and practiced with the team but did not see game action.
 
Prep School: Spent a prep year at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kan where he played alongside another incoming Shocker, Eric Hamilton, on the school’s post-graduate team… Had a handful of scholarship offers from Division II schools and also some Division I interest but chose to walk on with the Shockers – his favorite childhood team.
 
High School: A 2014 graduate and four-year basketball letterman at Maize South High School near Wichita… Helped the Mavericks to a 16-6 record as a senior, earning second team All-AVTL Division II honors... Honorable Mention All-Class 5A selection by the Topeka Capital Journal… Averaged 14.7 points as a junior but appeared in just nine games due to injuries… Second team All-AVCTL Division IV as a sophomore… Played for coach Kip Schultz… Also lettered a year in baseball… Member of the National Honor Society…
