  • Named to Athletics Director Honor Roll for the 2011 spring semester and 2011 fall semester.
2013 (Junior)
  • Finished the season 12-11 in the circle, with nine saves for the Shockers.
  • Appeared in 32 games, starting 22 with nine complete games in 2013, striking out 76 batters in 142.1 innings pitched.
  • Lowered her ERA from 5.32 in 2012 to 4.18 last season, bringing her career ERA to 4.66.
  • Currently ranks second in games finished (43), tied for second in most saves (9) and 12th all-time in strikeouts.
  • Picked up her first win of the season against Grambling State on Feb. 8, recording eight strikeouts in 6.0 innings, while only giving up two hits and had a perfect 0.00 ERA.
  • Went 8.0 innings and gave up one run and five hits with four strikeouts in the win against Appalachian State on Feb. 17.

  • Picked up her seventh and eighth wins on the season to help the Shockers sweep a doubleheader against Indiana State on March 16, going 10.2 innings in the series with a 2.33 ERA, while giving up 12 hits and recording 10 strikeouts.

  • Her career-high eight strikeouts came against Grambling State andIndiana State. She also surpassed her career-high of six wins when she defeated the Sycamores on March 16.
2012 (Sophomore)
  • Threw 138 innings, compiling a record of 6-23 and a 5.32 ERA.
  • Struck out 63 batters, increasing her career total to 140.
  • Had season-high five strikeouts in three games against Belmont, Saint Louis and UNI.
  • Currently ranks second all-time in saves (7), games finished (37) and 15th all-time in strikeouts.
  • Picked up her first win on the season against Belmont on Feb. 11, where she struck out five batters, gave up six hits and two runs.
  • Picked up her second win a week later against Sam Houston State on Feb. 17, recording three strikeouts, eight hits and gave up four runs.
  • Pitched a complete game and picked up her first conference win of the season against Evansville on April 14 where she only gave up three hits and one run, recording one strikeout.
2011 (Freshman)
  • Finished the season 6-7 in the circle with four saves for the Shockers, making the most appearances on the pitching staff with 47, including eight starts.
  • Led the pitching staff with 84 strikeouts on the year.
  • Her four saves is good for third all-time in a season for the Shockers and the 47 appearances is good for second.
  • Went 3.0 innings, while giving up four hits and one earned run in the save against St. John’s on Feb. 26.
  • Went 1.1 innings and gave up no hits or runs and picked up three strikeouts in the save against Ole Miss on March 4.
  • Picked up her first win on the season and of her career against Illinois State on March 26, recording a career high six strikeouts and went 6.0 innings, while giving up just one run on four hits.
  • Picked up her second conference win of the season against Indiana State on April 3 going 5.1 innings and held the Sycamores scoreless, while only giving up three hits and recorded five strikeouts.
  • Picked up her third and fourth wins on the season to help the Shockers sweep a doubleheader against Creighton on April 16, going 7.1 innings in the series and had a perfect 0.00 ERA while only giving up two hits and recording 11 strikeouts in the series.
  • Went 3.1 innings and held the Cowgirls to two runs on four hits in the win against #18 Oklahoma State.
  • Picked up her third and fourth saves of the season against Northern Iowa on May 1 and Missouri State on May 5.
  • Improved to 6-7 in the circle in the win against Bradley on May 7.

  • Pitched for the Glencoe Crimson Tide for head coach Jacy Jukkala, helping the team to four straight state championship appearances bringing home a state title her senior season.
  • Finished her high school softball career with an overall record of 107-15.
  • Was a two-time All-League Pitcher of the Year and two-time second team all-league selection.
  • Named All-State Pitcher of the Year her final season with the Crimson Tide.

  • Sloan Anderson was born on January 19, 1992 in Portland, Ore., to parents Lance and Kelly Anderson.
  • Her father, Lance, is a optometrist and her mother, Kelly, is a commercial banker. Has two younger siblings, Marly (16) and Abby (11).
  • International Business and Marketing major.
