Biography

As a Junior (2007):
Started four games and played in 14 contests for the Shockers in 2007... Recorded seven plate appearances after missing the first few weeks of the season recovering from a knee injury that required surgery... Started three games at shortstop and one in right field... Fielded .944... Named to the Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll... Named to both the Fall 2006 and Spring 2007 AD's Honor Roll.

As a Sophomore (2006):
Started 35 games and played in 45 contests for the Shockers in 2006... Started 22 games at shortstop, six games at third base and seven games in right field... Fielded .961... Hit .164 with two home runs and 10 RBI... Recorded three doubles and scored nine runs... Maintained a .288 slugging percentage... Went 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts... Hit .333 with the bases loaded and .308 with runners in scoring position... Recorded a team season-high six assists at Evansville on April 2... Recorded two multiple-hit and two multiple-RBI contests... Posted a season-best two-game hitting streak three times, with the last coming April 19-22... Went 1-for-2 with a home runs and two RBI against South Florida... Went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Drake in the State Farm MVC Tournament... Named to both the AD’s Honor Roll and the Dean’s Honor Roll for the Fall 2005 semester.

Before Wichita State:
Played one season at New Mexico... Named a Mountain West Conference Scholar Athlete... Selected to the MWC All-Academic Team... Started 45 games at shortstop and one game at second base in her freshman season at UNM... Hit .190 overall with one home run and 13 RBI... Posted 28 hits and scored 10 runs while accumulating 147 at-bats... Recorded eight doubles while drawing three walks... Did not record a stolen base on a team that stole just a total of 10 bases during the season... Fielded .908 with 14 errors at shortstop... Finished season tied for third on team with five sacrifices... Maintained a .211 on-base percentage... Hit .255 with runners in scoring position... Had five multiple-hit games and recorded a career-best five-game hit streak, while ending the season on a four-game hitting streak... Spent season scattered throughout the order, hitting third 14 times, the most of any batting slot... Posted three RBI in a game three times, against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Liberty and Indiana State.

In High School:
Attended Auburn High School in Auburn, Wash... Played for head coach Audrea McHenry... Earned four letters in softball and soccer... Named first team all-league in both softball and soccer... Led soccer team in scoring, and was named team captain of the softball team... A member of the Honor Society and a recipient of the Gold Chord Award.
