Biography

As a Junior in 2009:
Played in 52 games with 50 starts in center field for the Shockers… Hit .207 with two doubles and seven RBI… Had a seven-game hitting streak dating back to last season to start the 2009 campaign… Second on the team with 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts and was a perfect 6-for-6 in Missouri Valley Conference play… Her 26 career stolen bases are seventh in school history… Tied a career-high with three-RBI against Indiana State and set a career-high with two stolen bases against the Sycamores… Her single in the bottom of the ninth against Drake drove in the winning run to give WSU a series win over the Bulldogs… Was 3-for-4 with the bases loaded… Named to the AD’s Honor Roll following the Fall 2008 semester.

As a Sophomore in 2008:
Played in 47 games with 30 starts, 14 in center field and 16 in right field, while battling a shoulder injury for the Shockers in 2008... Recorded just 52 at-bats and hit .192 with an RBI and 11 walks... Had two sacrifice hits... Led the team in stolen bases for the second straight year with eight in 11 attempts... Ranks 11th on the all-time hit-by-pitch charts with 10... Had a .972 fielding percentage, committing just one error all season in the outfield... Had a perfect fielding percentage in 19 Missouri Valley Conference games... Went 2-for-4 with two runs and a walk in two games at the 2008 State Farm MVC Tournament... Named to the AD’s Honor Roll following the Fall 2007 semester.

As a Freshman 2007...
Started 46 games and played in 56 contests in the outfield for the Shockers in 2007... Started 34 games in right field with 12 starts in center field... Hit .245 with four doubles, one triple, one home run and 10 RBI... Finished tied for the team high with seven stolen bases... Was hit by a pitch nine times which ranks fourth on the school's single-season list... Third on the team with a .298 batting average in conference play... Recorded four multiple-hit and two multiple-RBI games... Recorded a season-best five-game hitting streak that began on March 27 against Oklahoma State... Started 28 games batting ninth in the order... Hit .556 against left-handers... Had a season-best three hits in a 3-for-5 effort against nationally-ranked Illinois State... Hit a three-run home run in her first collegiate at-bat against nationally-ranked Louisiana-Lafayette on Feb. 10... Named T-Mobile WSU Athlete of the Week on April 2 after batting .600 in the series against No. 20 Illinois State.

In High School:
Attended Skiatook High School in Skiatook, Okla... Played under head coach Scott Dean... Earned four letters in both basketball and softball... Was a four-time Tulsa 7 all-conference performer in softball and earned the honor twice in basketball as a junior and senior... Named to both the Tulsa World all-Metro and all-state team... Named an Oil High School Magazine All-Star... Helped lead team to the state tournament all four years in high school... Hit .390 over four-year career and stole 105 bases... Graduated with a 3.4 GPA.

Daughter of Tommy and Marva Mitts... Born June 9, 1988 as Lindsie Starr Mitts... Has two siblings - an older sister, Tommie, and an older brother, Kellen... Member of the Oklahoma Attack team that placed third at the 2005 AFA Nationals... Majoring in criminal justice.
