Career:

Played in all 98 possible games and started 38... Has scored 512 points and pulled in 403 rebounds with 124 steals (22nd in WSU history)... Owns .501 career field goal percentage.

As a Redshirt Junior in 2012-13:

Played in all 34 games (setting the school’s single-season record) and started 3... Averaged 4.9 points 3.8 rebounds per game... Blocked 12 shots and forced 51 steals... Led team in field goal percentage (.504) and shot career-best .588 from the free throw line… Ranked 11th in the MVC in steals (1.5 steals per game)… Turned in her top scoring games against some of the top opponents WSU faced, including a team-high 12 points in the NCAA First Round game at Texas A&M… Shot 4-for-5 from the field and 4-for-5 from the line against the Aggies while playing near her hometown of Kingwood, Texas… Scored season-high 15 points with seven rebounds at Creighton (F16) and 14 points with eight rebounds and a career-high-matching six steals against the Bluejays at home (J19)… Tallied 13 with the help of 7-for-9 free throw shooting in the season-opener at LSU (N11)… Netted 10 points with nine boards in a come-from-behind victory over Drake in the MVC Quarterfinals (M15)… Recorded 3+ steals five times… Ranked among league leaders in offensive rebounding most of the year, despite averaging just 15.9 minutes per game… Led team in rebounding seven times and in steals nine times… Started three games: D30 vs. Wisconsin-Green Bay, J25 at Southern Illinois, and M23 at Texas A&M.

As a Junior in 2011-12:

As a Sophomore in 2010-11:

Played in all 32 games and started 22... Averaged 6.0 points and led the team with 4.9 rebounds per game... Blocked 17 shots and forced 43 steals... Started 16 of final 17 games... Topped the team in field goal percentage (.480) and also paced the squad in double-doubles (2)... Named WSU’s Athlete of the Week for Feb. 21 following a win over Missouri State in which Price matched her career-high 16 points and set a new career-best with 12 rebounds... The performance came on WSU’s Pink Zone game, which took place one year after Michelle’s mother underwent succesful surgery for breast cancer... Recorded first career double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 5-for-5 from the field in a win vs. Illinois State (Jan. 16)... Grabbed six or more rebounds 13 times...Made 13 of first 45 free throws (.289) before connecting on 34 of last 58 from the line (.586)... Led team in rebounding nine times and notched double figure rebounding totals in four games.

 

As a Freshman in 2009-10:

Played in all 33 games and started the final 13 contests... Averaged 4.6 points and 3.8 rebounds per game... Led team in field goal percentage (.527)... Upped that percentage to .576 during MVC competition... Moved into starting lineup on Feb. 20 vs. Drake and averaged 7.8 points and 5.2 rebounds in that role... Put up 2.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game as a reserve... In first six games as a starter shot .735 (25-for-34) and scored 9.7 points... Registered season-high 16 points in only 19 minutes by hitting 6-of-7 field goals and 4-of-6 free throws vs. Evansville (Feb. 26)... Hauled in a season-high of nine rebounds on three occasions, including back-to-back games in the MVC Tournament vs. Missouri St. and Creighton (March 12 & 13)... Contributed 11 points (5-for -5 FG, 1-for-1 FT) and six rebounds to go along with four steals in a home win vs. Missouri St. (Feb. 20)... In four post-season games, averaged 8.5 points and 6.5 rebounds... Scored in double figures six times, all within the final 12 games of the season... Led team in rebounding six times... Despite averaging only 14.4 minutes per game, placed fourth on the team in rebounding, fourth in blocked shots and fifth in steals.

Named to the Greater Houston Area Girls Basketball All-Star Team ... A Texas Association of Basketball Coaches all-Region 3 selection ... Named Most Valuable Player of District 21-5A following her junior year and Defensive MVP of District 19-5A following her senior season ... Posted 19 double-doubles as a senior after 17 during her junior season ... Finished third in scoring among players in her district with more than 18 points per game as a senior ... Finished second in rebounding in her district, behind only Brittney Griner, the consensus No. 1 ranked recruit in the nation ... Finished third among District 19-5A players with 25 blocks as a senior ... Ranked among the top five in Class 5A players in the Greater Houston Area in scoring and rebounding as a junior ... Helped lead the Mustangs to three-consecutive district playoff appearances ... Scored a career-high 34 points against Katy Taylor, and pulled down a career-best 20 rebounds against Bellaire, ranked among the top five teams in the state ...
