Biography

As a Junior (2007):
Played in 56 games with 53 starts for the Shockers in 2007, with all 53 starts coming as the designated player... Finished the season second on the team with a .290 batting average with 15 home runs, a WSU single-season record and a mark that finished tied for third among MVC players and 48th nationally... Her 32 walks were fourth on the school’s single-season list, and ranked third among MVC players while ranking 66th nationally... Posted a team high 40 RBI, a mark that ranks third on the single-season list... Ranked fifth among MVC players and led the squad with a .431 on base percentage... Recorded the third-highest slugging percentage in school history... Moved into fourth on the school’s all-time home run list... Led the team with 11 multiple-RBI games with 10 multiple-hit contests... Recorded a season-best six-game hitting streak in mid-April... Made six appearances in the circle with an 0-1 record in 6.2 innings worked... Recorded a season-high three RBI four times, the last coming in a 2-for-4 effort at UNI on April 15... Had a career-high three hits against Western Illinois on March 10... Selected to the Shocker Invitational All-Tournament Team... Named to the Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll and was a first team CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 selection... Named to the both the Dean’s Honor Roll and the AD’s Honor Roll following the Fall 2006 semester and to the AD’s Honor Roll following the Spring 2007 semester.
 
As a Sophomore (2006):
Started 26 games and played in 31 for the Shockers in 2006... Recorded 13 appearances as a pitcher, while starting 26 games as the designated player... Hit .210 with two home runs and 11 RBI... Posted 17 hits, two of which were doubles... Went 2-for-2 in stolen base attempts... Hit .400 against left-handed pitchers... Posted four games with multiple hits and four games with multiple RBI... Went 1-for-3 with two RBI in the season-opener at nationally-ranked Baylor... Went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a home run in the first game of a doubleheader at Missouri State on April 5... Went 1-1, with a 7.38 ERA in the circle... Recorded 11 strikeouts in 24.2 innings pitched... Recorded a save against North Texas on March 14... Recorded the win against UMKC on April 19, giving up just one run in 6.1 innings worked... Named to the Spring 2006 AD's Honor Roll.

In the NCAA Tournament (2005):
Started both games of the 2005 NCAA Norman Regional at designated player... Recorded a hit and a walk in six plate appearances.

As a Freshman (2005):
Played in 60 games while starting 45 contests for the Shockers in 2005... Hit .271 with 36 hits, six doubles, three home runs and 28 RBI... Went 2-0 in the circle, with a 2.39 ERA in five appearances... Tied for fourth among conference players after being hit by a pitch six times... Third on the team with a .345 average in conference play... Hit .500 in the State Farm MVC Championship with a double and two RBI... Had six multiple-hit and nine multiple-RBI games... Had a season best six-game hitting streak from April 24-30... Went 2-for-3 with three RBI against UMKC on April 27... Went 1-for-2 with two RBI against Southern Illinois on April 9...
