Biography

As a Junior (2006):
Played in 55 games with 52 starts at third base for the Shockers in 2006. Hit .181 with five doubles and six RBI... Posted 23 hits and 14 runs scored... Drew 16 walks, which moved her into a tie for fourth on the all-time list with 74... Remained tied for fourth on the all-time home run list with 15... Was hit by a pitch four times, moving her to eighth on the all-time list with 11... Posted three games with multiple hits... Hit .357 against left-handers and .667 with the bases loaded... Went 2-for-3 with a RBI against nationally-ranked Baylor on Feb. 12... Posted a season-high five-game hitting streak from April 5-12... Named to the AD's Honor Roll and the Dean's Honor Roll for both the Fall 2005 and Spring 2006 semesters... Named to the Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll.


In the Postseason (2005):
Started both games of the 2005 NCAA Norman Regional... Was hitless in seven plate appearances... Was perfect in the field with seven defensive putouts and an assist.


As a Sophomore (2005):
Started all 64 games, 44 of which came at third base for the Shockers in 2005... Named a second team all-Missouri Valley Conference selection... Finished season ranked 29th nationally in walks per game (.59), and was second in the Valley with 38 free passes, moving her into eighth on the all-time list at the time... Was the team leader and second in the conference with 44 RBI, a WSU single-season record... Set the WSU single-game record with seven RBI against Creighton on May 7, a mark later tied by teammate Tawnya Guthrie in 2005... Tied for the team lead and finished tied for third in the Valley with 12 home runs, one shy of the school's single-season standard, moving her into a tie for fourth on the all-time home run list... Finished third on the team and fourth in the conference in runs scored with 35... Hit .271 overall and .250 in conference play... Went 4-for-12 at the plate with five RBI in the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament... Hit .500 with the bases loaded and .329 with runners in scoring position... Recorded 11 multiple-hit and nine multiple-RBI games... Had a career-best 10-game hit streak from February 12-March 9... Named to the AD’s Honor Roll for both the Spring and Fall 2005 semesters, and the Dean’s Honor Roll in Fall 2005... Recipient of the MVC Commissioner’s Academic Excellence Award and was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Honor Roll.

 
As a Freshman (2004):
Played in 61 games with 52 starts for the Shockers in 2004... Started 44 games in right field and recorded two starts at third base and six starts at designated player... Named to the 2004 MVC All-Tournament Team... Hit .232 with 33 hits and six runs scored... Hit three home runs with 17 RBI... Hit a home run in first-ever at-bat as a Shocker, a two-run shot against Baylor in the first game of 2004... Recorded 20 walks... Fielded .931 in right field... Went 3-for-6 with two RBI in MVC Tournament action... Second on team with 11 two-out RBI... Recorded five multiple-hit and four multiple-RBI games... Recorded two separate four-game hitting streaks... Drove in a team season-high four runs against Friends... Went 3-for-7 with seven RBI in two games against Friends... Went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Drake in the MVC Tournament... Named to both the AD’s Honor Roll and Dean’s Honor Roll for Fall 2003 and Spring 2004 semesters... Named a NFCA Scholar-Athlete.

Attended St. Lucy’s Priory in Glendora, Calif... Played for head coach Juanita Bunkers... Was a three-time all-Sierra League first team selection...
