Biography

As a Junior in 2008:
Played in 32 games with one start for the Shockers in 2008... Her one start came as the designated player against Iowa State in the Shocker Invitational in which she went 1-for-4 with an RBI, part of a 7-4 win... Used primarily as a pinch hitter, recorded 31 at-bats and collected three hits, two of which were doubles, and four RBI... Named to the AD’s Honor Roll for both the Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 semesters... Named to the MVC Honor Roll following the 2007-08 academic year.

As a Sophomore in 2007:
Played in 33 games with 18 starts, 16 of which came at catcher for the Shockers in 2007... Hit .160 with eight hits in 50 at-bats... Hit one home run with five RBI... Registered 10 walks, good for sixth on the team... Fielded .980 behind the plate... Hit .273 in conference action... Posted one multiple-hit and one multiple-RBI game with a 2-for-3 effort against Western Illinois on March 10... Named to both the AD's Honor Roll and the Dean's Honor Roll for the Spring 2007 semester.

As a Freshman in 2006:
Played in 27 games with 18 starts at designated player for the Shockers in 2006. Hit .281, good for the fourth-best average on the team... Hit three home runs and posted 10 RBI... Posted a .474 slugging percentage, which ranked 18th among conference players, and a .364 on-base percentage... Scored five runs... Posted four multiple-hit and three multiple-RBI games... Recorded a four-game hitting streak from April 12-15... Hit two home runs against North Texas on March 14... Hit .333 in conference play... Hit .400 against left-handers and .310 with runners on base... Drew eight walks... Went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Sam Houston State on March 4... Was 2-for-2 with a RBI against Creighton on April 14.

In High School:
Attended Brenham High School in Brenham, Texas... Earned four letters in softball under head coach Wade Wilson... Twice named a first-team all-district performer... Named an all-Brazos Valley selection... Named to the first-team all-state team... Named an all-region performer... Hit .479 as a senior with a .700 slugging percentage... Helped guide team to a 35-2-4 record and a state championship as a senior.
