Attended Lafayette High School in Wildwood, Mo...Lettered four years in baseball and three years in football...Drafted in 46th round by the Detroit Tigers...Made Area Code games in 2008 and finished in top 50 in SPARQ testing and top three in nation at his position...Hit .518 as a senior, and broke single season home run record, held previously by Ryan Howard...Made all conference, all metro and all state as a senior for baseball...In the summer of 2008 for the Rawlings Prospects, hit .343 with seven home runs and 33 RBI…In football, named all-conference…As a junior, threw five touchdown passes from the wide receiver position…Named a scholar-athlete.
