2010 (JUNIOR): Ran in six races during the season...Had four top-25 finishes on the year including a season-best showing of ninth at the Iowa Invitational (10:40.60)...Was 13th at the Missouri Valley Conference Championships with a time of 18:04.01...Finished the J.K. Gold Classic in 19th place, crossing the line in a time of 14:53.20.

2011 (JUNIOR): INDOOR - Finished second in the 3,000m run at the Herm Wilson Classic and at the Shocker Quad & Multi...Ran a personal best 17:22.23 in the 5,000m run at the Iowa State Classic...OUTDOOR - Moved into the WSU all-time list in three events...Finished fourth in the 5,000m run at the Mondo Mid-Major Challenge, running a time of 17:02.04...Finished the 3,000m steeplechase in a time of 10:56.97 at the MVC Championships, placing fifth...Was 27th at the Stanford Invitational, one of the premiere distance races, and finished with the fifth best time in WSU history (35:34.68).
Junior College: Was a seven-time NJCAA All-American at Colby Community College.
Personal: Born Aug. 2, 1990 in Trinidad and Tobago... Has four siblings, including former Shocker Tonya Nero...Majoring in elementary education...In July 2011, competed for her native Trinidad and Tobago in the 3,000m steeplechase at the 2011 Central American and Caribbean Senior Championships, finishing eighth.
