WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State men's basketball has a complete 2026-27 schedule with the announcement of the American Conference 18-game schedule, the league announced Wednesday morning.

The Shockers open conference play at home on New Years Eve vs. North Texas. Shocker fans will get the chance to see Wichita State in the Roundhouse four more times during the month of January with home games against UAB (Jan. 8), East Carolina (Jan. 17), Memphis (Jan. 28) and UTSA (Jan. 31). Road games over the opening month of conference action include Charlotte (Jan. 3), Memphis (Jan. 14), North Texas (Jan. 20) and Tulsa (Jan. 23).

February kicks off with a road swing through the Sunshine State against South Florida (Feb. 4) and Florida Atlantic (Feb. 7). Home games in the month include Tulane (Feb. 10), South Florida (Feb. 18) and Charlotte (Feb. 28). The Shockers will once again be on the road on Super Bowl Sunday, at Rice (Feb. 14). Remaining away contests include Temple (Feb. 21) and Tulane (March 3).

The regular season finale will see Tulsa in the Roundhouse on March 6.

The 2027 American Men's Basketball Championship will once again feature the top 10 teams in a five-day bracket format that began last season. The No. 1 and No. 2 seeds will advance directly to the semifinals, while the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds will maintain byes to the quarterfinals. The No. 5 and No. 6 seeds will receive byes to the second round. The 2027 Championship will run Wednesday through Sunday, March 10-14 at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Fla.

Season tickets are available now by calling 316-978-FANS (3267) or in-person at the Shocker Ticket Office, open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Prior to the regular season opener on Nov. 4, fans have a few opportunities to see the team in action. Shocker Madness is right around the corner on Oct. 3 at 6:30 p.m. Four days later, the Shockers welcome Murray State to Charles Koch Arena for a charity scrimmage on Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. The charity scrimmage is not included in the season ticket package, instead is a general admission event with proceeds going to two local charity organizations. All tickets are $20.
