WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State men's basketball finalized its 2026-27 non-conference schedule that includes 10 home games and three road/neutral site games against Power 4 competition.
The non-conference slate features four games against opponents that finished inside the Top 80 of the NET in 2025-26, including a pair of games against Power 4 teams that will be preseason nationally ranked.
Wichita State officially opens the regular season on Nov. 4 at home vs. CSUN (Cal State Northridge). The Shockers then ramp up competition in a big way four days later in Lake Tahoe, Nev. vs. USC, as part of the inaugural Caesars Lake Tahoe Classic.
Back-to-back home contests against Friends (Nov. 11) and Austin Peay (Nov. 14) await the Shockers before their first true road game at Loyola Chicago on Nov. 18. The road trip to the Windy City is the return game of a home-and-home series with the Ramblers. A highly anticipated home game vs. New Mexico is next on the docket. The Lobos finished the 2025-26 season No. 46 in the NET behind a 26-win season and an NIT semifinal appearance.
Texas A&M Corpus Christi visits the Roundhouse on Nov. 23 and then a massive opportunity in Lexington, Ky. comes on Black Friday. The Shockers visit Kentucky on Nov. 27 in Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center.
Southeast Missouri in Koch Arena on Nov. 30 wraps up the opening month of the season. The month of December begins with two key matchups, first a home date with Boise State on Dec. 5. Six days later, the Shockers head up the turnpike to face Kansas State in the T-Mobile Center. The clash with the Wildcats will be considered a true road game with K-State controlling all ticketing aspects.
The non-conference season wraps up with Cameron (Dec. 14), South Carolina State (Dec. 18) and Jacksonville State (Dec. 21) visiting the Roundhouse before Christmas. Conference play officially kicks off on Dec. 30. Times and TV info will be announced at a later date.
The Shockers are slated to host 19 games in Koch Arena this season, two more than in 2025-26, but ticket prices remain the same as last year. That means Shocker fans get to see more games against better opponents for the same price. Unbeatable value for a season ticket to watch Wichita's team.
Season tickets are on sale now, and season ticket renewals are available as well. Fewer than 275 lower bowl season tickets remain, so get your tickets today.
