WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State and VCU have agreed to a future home-and-home series, beginning in Richmond, Va. in 2027.

VCU will host Wichita State in the Siegel Center in 2027 and make the return trip to Charles Koch Arena in 2028. No dates have been set.

The two programs previously sparked up a home-and-home in 2018 and 2019 with the home team winning each of those matchups. The all-time series is tied 3-3 with the Shockers claiming the most recent matchup on Dec. 21, 2019 in Wichita, 73-63.

The Rams enter 206-27 following a 28-8 campaign in 2025-26 that saw them win the Atlantic 10 Championship and advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament under first-year head coach Phil Martelli Jr.

Wichita State is coming off a 24-win season and its second straight postseason berth. The Shockers have increased their win total each year under head coach Paul Mills, who will be entering his fourth season on the sideline. The 2026-27 team enters with high expectations after the announcement of 10 Shockers set to return.
