WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State Athletics will host "Bark in the Park" at the Shocker baseball game against Florida Atlantic on Saturday, May 9, at 2:05 pm at Eck Stadium, Home of Tyler Field at Gene Stephenson Park. Gates for the contest will open at 1:00 pm.
All well-behaved and socialized dogs that are up-to-date on shots and vaccinations will be permitted into the outfield area of the stadium. The Shocker Athletic Department will provide waste dispensers to fans with a dog and water bowls will be available.

To ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience at the "Bark in the Park" event, please read and follow this important information:
- Dogs will be allowed to check-in exclusively at the right field entrance of Eck Stadium.
- We encourage owners with dogs to purchase tickets online, in-advance for seamless entry into Eck Stadium. Fans that don't purchase in advance will need to buy a ticket at the booth in right field before entering through the right field entrance. They CANNOT enter through any other gate.
- We also encourage owners with dogs to complete the online waiver in advance for seamless entry into Eck Stadium
- Fans with dogs are permitted to sit in the grassy areas to the north of the right field entrance, but must remain off the Kosich Korner Deck and Coleman Pavilions.
- All dogs must be kept on a fixed length leash (no longer than 8 ft.) at ALL TIMES. No retractable leashes, no dogs off leash. Owners are responsible for their own messes.
- Dog owner assumes responsibility for the action of their dog for the duration of the Bark in the Park event.
All participants are required to execute a Release and Waiver. Wichita State Athletics reserves the right to remove unruly dogs from the premises. For the waiver form, please click here.
