CONWAY, S.C. — No. 64 Wichita State downed Coastal Carolina, 4-0, on Tuesday at Stevens Tennis Complex.

The Shockers (10-7) extended their winning streak to six matches with the victory over Coastal Carolina (9-6). The streak is Wichita State's longest since 2019.

Doubles play was highly competitive on all three courts, with
Ilias Worthington and
Rodrigo Cruz striking first with a 6-4 win at No. 2. Coastal Carolina answered with a 6-4 win at No. 3 over
Alejandro Jacome and
Felix Bockelmann-Evans, but
Pablo Roche Alcaya and
Zaid Al Mashni closed out the point for Wichita State with a 6-3 win at No. 1.

In singles, the Shockers maintained control by winning four of the six first sets.

Cruz delivered the first singles win for Wichita State with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 6.

Al Mashni put the Shockers up 3-0 with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 2, bringing Wichita State to the brink of victory.

Amir Milushev clinched the match for the Shockers, winning 6-0, 7-6 (6) at No. 4.
