RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. — Wins at the top of the lineup powered No. 28 Wichita State to a 4-0 victory over Arkansas State on Friday at Sunrise Country Club.

Wichita State (13-3) extended its winning streak to 11 with the triumph over Arkansas State (7-6). The Shockers have now tied the seventh-longest winning streak in program history.

In doubles,
Theodora Chantava and
Kristina Kudryavtseva quickly struck for the Shockers, winning 6-1 at No. 2. No. 12-ranked
Xin Tong Wang and
Giorgia Roselli sealed the point for Wichita State with a 6-4 victory at No. 1.

In singles, the Shockers kept control of the match, taking five of six first sets.
No. 124-ranked Wang put the first point on the board in singles, winning 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 to make the score 2-0.

The other ranked Shocker, Chantava, finished off her match with a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3.

Needing just one point to close out the match, Roselli finished the job with a 6-2, 6-4 victory at No. 2.
