WICHITA, Kan. – After knocking off No. 34 Oklahoma State on Sunday, the Wichita State men's tennis team moved up to No. 62 in the ITA rankings Tuesday.
 
For the Shockers, it marks the first time they have been ranked in back-to-back weeks since March 2022. The No. 62 ranking is the highest for the Shockers since Feb. 23, 2022, when they were No. 55.
 
The Shockers' 4-3 win over No. 34 Oklahoma State on Sunday was their highest-ranked victory since 2021 and their first over the Cowboys since 1996. Wichita State has won its last five matches and seven of its last nine.
 
The Shockers are one of four ranked teams in the American Conference, behind Memphis (No. 54) and Charlotte (No. 58) but ahead of Rice (No. 70).
 
Wichita State's next match is Tuesday, March 17, against Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C.
