The win for the Shockers (10-3) over Oral Roberts (2-9) was their eighth consecutive victory. It marked Wichita State's first sweep of the season and first since March 1, 2025, against Abilene Christian.

In doubles action,
Kristina Kudryavtseva and
Theodora Chantava got the Shockers rolling with a 6-2 win at No. 1 against the Golden Eagles. At No. 3,
Sati Aubakirova and
Tatyana Nikolenko closed out doubles with a 6-3 victory, giving Wichita State the advantage heading into singles.Â

The Shockers dominated singles, taking the first set on all six courts.Â

Chantava carried her momentum from doubles into singles, controlling her match for a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 1.Â

Aubakirova powered past her opponent, winning 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 to give the Shockers a 3-0 advantage.

At No. 3, Vimuktananda cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win, giving Wichita State a 4-0 lead.

After winning a competitive first set, 6-4, Kudryavtseva came back strong, taking the second set 6-1 to claim her match at No. 2, making the score 5-0.Â

Seeing the match through, Knuettel secured a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 5, and Nikolenko closed out her match at No. 6, winning 6-2, 6-2, ending the match with a 7-0 sweep for Wichita State.Â
