A New Season Begins
• Wichita State men's tennis is in its fourth season under head coach
Darragh Glavin.
• The Shockers went 12–13 last season, their best record and highest win total under Glavin.
• Wichita State lost its season opener, 5-2, on Jan. 14 at Arizona State and fell to Utah State, 5-2, on Jan. 16.
• The Shockers have a preseason team Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 74.43, which ranks as No. 68 in the NCAA.
• WSU's team UTR is the fifth-highest in the American Conference.
Fall Notes
• The Shockers earned 12 singles wins and five doubles wins in limited fall action.

Alejandro Jacome led the Shockers in the fall with four singles wins, including three at the American Conference Singles Championship.

Ilias Worthington led the team in doubles wins with three.
• Jacome reached the semifinals of the American Conference Singles Championship and the doubles championship with Worthington.

Returners to the Lineup
• Five Shockers return for another season in Wichita in 2026.
• The five returners combined for 39 of the team's 65 dual-match singles wins last season.
• Three of the top five Shockers in singles wins—Jacome, Worthington, and
Amir Milushev—are back with Wichita State.

• The Shockers have four new players for the 2025–26 season, with three arriving for the spring semester.
