7/23/2025 2:00:00 PM

WICHITA, Kan. - The American Conference has announced its 18-game men's basketball league opponent matrix for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Each team has been assigned six home-and-home series, plus three home-only and three road-only opponents. Wichita State will have home-and-home series against Charlotte, East Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Memphis, South Florida and Tulsa, while also hosting North Texas, Rice and Temple in Charles Koch Arena. Wichita State will travel to UAB, Tulane and UTSA, but they will not make the return trip to Wichita this season.

Matchups are annually determined by television inventory and contractual requirements, competitive issues/NET implications and geographic rivalries.

The complete 2025-26 men's basketball composite schedule with dates and times will be announced in September. The first conference play dates will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025 and will run through Sunday, March 8, 2026. The 2026 American Conference Men's Basketball Championship will feature a 10-team tournament and be held at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Ala.
