TEMPE, Ariz. – Seven women's tennis players earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete awards, and the team garnered an ITA All-Academic Team Award for their academic performance in the 2024-25 school year.

Xin Tong Wang all earned Scholar-Athlete awards, along with recent graduate
Clara Whitaker.

To be an ITA Scholar-Athlete, athletes must have a current grade point average of at least 3.5 for the current academic year.Â

In addition to the individual awards, the Shockers were also honored as an ITA All-Academic Team for having a team GPA above 3.20 for the 2024-25 academic year.

Across NCAA Division I, 1,462 women's tennis student-athletes received ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, and 222 women's tennis teams garnered All-Academic Team awards.
