WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State is one of eight teams selected to compete in the 2025 Battle 4 Atlantis early season tournament, Nov. 26-28 in Paradise Islands, Bahamas.
This marks the 14th year for the Battle 4 Atlantis, and will be Wichita State's second trip to Atlantis. The Shockers last competed in the Battle 4 Atlantis in 2016 where they went 1-2 and finished fourth.
"I've been able to be a part of a number of tournaments during my 23 years coaching at the D1 level," said Wichita State head coach
Paul Mills. "I've never had a better experience than Battle for Atlantis. The competition, the hospitality, scenery and amazing people that I was able to interact with created an experience that was second to none. I am excited about the Shockers being a part of this event and more excited for our players and fans for this experience in November of 2025."
The seven teams joining Wichita State in the Bahamas include: Colorado State, Saint Mary's, South Florida, Vanderbilt, VCU, Virginia Tech and Western Kentucky.
The bracket will be announced at a later date.
