WICHITA, Kan. -- Wichita State senior Mary Orf was named Conference USA Co-Bowler of the Month on Wednesday. Orf shares the honor with Jade Cote of Youngstown State, while Erin Klemencic of Jacksonville State and Sydney Bohn of Vanderbilt shared the conference's Newcomer of the Month honors.

Orf has spearheaded the Shockers surge in the spring semester, powering Wichita State to three top-two finishes including a tournament win at the Columbia 300 Saints Invite. She was named Big Red Invite MVP and All-Tournament Team at the Columbia 300 Saints Invite, where she averaged 232.3 and 227.8, respectively.

In four February tournaments, the senior from St. Louis posted a per frame average of 20.0 or better across both Baker and Traditional formats, highlighted by a 23.23 average in the Big Red Invite Traditional games. Orf logged strike percentages of 66%, 65%, 60% and 56% in traditional games and had a fill percentage of at least 87% in all but one day of competition.

Orf put her entire game on display in the Shockers most recent competition in Lincoln. She did not leave a single split, filling 97.5% of Traditional frames and 93.8% of Baker frames. Her 9+ pins percentage of 92.5% in the Traditional games is the second highest by a Shocker in any tournament this season (Aleesha Oden - 94.0% at Penguin Classic).

Orf also came one pin shy of perfection at the Flyer Classic in Lockport, firing a 299 in Wichita State's win over North Carolina A&T on February 8.

All told, Orf stands 21st nationally in PCPI with an overall average of 207.2 and ranks in the top-15 nationally in six different statistical categories.
