• Theodora Chantava and Giorgia Roselli represented the Shockers in doubles at the first annual AAC Fall Championships, where they made a run to the semifinals of the tournament
• Roselli led the Shockers in singles wins in the fall with ten
• Chantava, Roselli, and Kristina Kudryavtseva tied for the lead in doubles wins with five each

Team Leaders

• Anne Knuettel leads the team iin singles victories with seven
• Knuettel has the best winning percentage in singles with a 7-1 record (0.875)
• Kudryavtseva and Chantava lead the Shockers in doubles wins with six, all coming paired together, and they have a 6-1 record as a duo this season
• The Shockers have team records of 32-21 in singles and 14-12 in doubles

In the Rankings

• After a fall campaign that saw her become the first Shocker to qualify for nationals since 2019, Wang was ranked No. 62 by the ITA in singles
• Wang is also the first Shocker to be ranked by the ITA since May 1, 2019, when Fatima Bizhukova was ranked No. 121
• Wang is currently ranked No. 123 in singles
• As a team, the Shockers moved from No. 75 to No. 67 in Tuesday's ITA rankings

New Faces

• Two new players have joined the Shocker roster from last season in true freshman Sati Aubakirova and Miami (FL) transfer Tatyana Nikolenko
• Coach Foster will be joined by two new assistant coaches this season: Arianna Raga, who came to Wichita State after guiding the Cowley Tigers to an NJCAA Division I National Championship, and Maya Tahan, who just wrapped up a collegiate playing career between Miami and LSU

Memphis Notes

• Memphis Head Coach Hayden Perez is in his 11^th year as coach of the Tigers
• The Tigers are 2-10 so far this year and 1-7 in true road matches
• Memphis has played a challenging schedule so far, battling seven ranked teams in the current ITA top 75
• Memphis enters fresh off a road win over Harvard on Sunday, 4-1
• The Tigers played for the AAC Championship last season, losing to SMU in the title match, 4-0
• Memphis was 5-1 against AAC opponents last year and beat Wichita State on March 31, 4-2, in Memphis
