  • The Shockers were ranked No. 65 as a team in the first ITA computer top 75 poll of the season
  • After a fall campaign that saw her become the first Shocker to qualify for nationals since 2019, Wang was ranked No. 62 by the ITA in singles
  • Wang is also the first Shocker to be ranked by the ITA since May 1, 2019, when Fatima Bizhukova was ranked No. 121

New Faces
  • Two new players have joined the Shocker roster from last season in true freshman Sati Aubakirova and Miami (FL) transfer Tatyana Nikolenko
  • Coach Foster will be joined by two new assistant coaches this season: Arianna Raga, who came to Wichita State after guiding the Cowley Tigers to an NJCAA Division I National Championship, and Maya Tahan, who just wrapped up a collegiate playing career between Miami and LSU

  • Hawkeye Head Coach Sasha Boros is in her ninth year at the helm of Iowa
  • Boros has a record of 94-87 in her time with Iowa 
  • Iowa has a record of 5-3 on the year and are 2-2 on the road
  • The Hawkeyes are 0-2 against team in Kansas so far this year, losing 4-1 to Kansas, and 4-3 to Kansas State
