TEMPE, Ariz. – Wichita State's Xin Tong Wang and Giorgia Roselli were ranked in doubles by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Tuesday in the final rankings of the fall season.

In doubles, the Shockers are ranked No. 24, up seven spots from their preseason No. 31 ranking.

The pair went 10-5 in the fall, winning the American Conference Doubles Championship on Oct. 26. The Shockers played nine doubles teams who were also ranked in Tuesday's poll, going 4-5 against those opponents. The ranked victories came over the No. 25, No. 44, No. 47 and No. 65 teams in the country.

Roselli and Wang's ranking is the fifth-highest in program history, only trailing a No. 16 ranking by Fatima Bizhukova and Gabriella Porubin in 2018, a No. 19 ranking by Bizhukova and Marta Bellucco in 2019, a No. 22 ranking by Stephanie Dalmacio and Delia Damaschin in 2010 and a No. 23 ranking by Bellucco and Sandra Honigova in 2021.

The Shockers will open the spring dual season in January, with Wang and Roselli anticipated to anchor the doubles lineup as Wichita State looks to pursue its first NCAA Tournament berth since 2018 under first-year head coach Jacob Eddins.
