Nooner Inks Six During Fall Signing Period

WICHITA – Wichita State head women's basketball coach Terry Nooner signed six players to the 2026-27 roster during the fall signing period.
 
Alexis Leyva is a 5'11" shooting guard from Tulsa, Okla., who led Lincoln High School to the 2024 Oklahoma 4A Championship. She was named to the All-Tournament Second Team and averaged 6.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game through her junior season.
 
"Alexis is the classic 3&D prototype," Nooner said. "She's a tenacious defender with a beautiful jump shot. Her abilities fit exactly what our program stands for. She's a high character kid that's a champion and proven winner. We're excited about what she'll bring on and off the court."
 
Jamari Milton is a 5'7" guard from Fort Worth, Texas. Playing for North Cowley High School, she was named to the TABC All-State Team and the All-District First Team.
 
"Jamari is an elite combo/point guard," Nooner said. "She's a hard-nosed competitor and has a serious clutch gene. She's never afraid of the big moment and has a next-level competitive edge that we value in our program. Being able to sign one of the top seniors in the state of Texas is huge for our program."

 
Aaliyah Broadus is a 5'11" small forward from Denver, Colo. who shot 41 percent from three and averaged 13.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game as a junior at Cherokee Trail High School.
 
"Aaliyah is a 5'10" small forward that comes with strong upside and defensive versatility.," Nooner said. "She has a beautiful jump shot and is a tough competitor on both ends of the floor. She will bring great versatility to our forward spot."
 
Kaylea Lacey is a 5'9" guard from Alton, Ill., who led Alton High School to an IHSA 4A Super-Sectional title and a third place finish at the IHSA 4A State Tournament.
 
"Kaylea is a 5'9 guard/small forward with strong leadership traits and on-court versatility," Nooner said. "She's ultra competitive and plays with extreme passion and tenacity. We believe she'll thrive in our system."
 
Rachel Skulsky is a 5'9" guard from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where she played for Royal Crown. She was part of the 2025 Grind Session World Championship team and was named the Semi-Finals MVP. She also won the NPA Championship, Chris Smallings Tournament and Run 4 Roses Championship. She recorded an OSBA season-high 35 points.
 
"Rachel is an elite shooter," Nooner said. "She is the true definition a gym rat and a tireless worker. Rachel is always looking to perfect her craft and shooting ability and will be a huge asset to our offense."
 
Eugenia Ngungo is a 6'4" center from Luanda, Angola. She is currently a sophomore at Clarendon College, averaging 7.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
 
"Eugenia gives us a strong physical presence in the post," Nooner said. "Her rebounding, shot blocking and athleticism will be huge for us. She has great hands and plays with great passion and effort. Our fans will love the fire she plays with on a nightly basis."
