Charity Scrimmage
Saturday, Oct. 11 | 1:00 p.m. CT
Wichita, Kan. | Charles Koch Arena

Radio: KEYN 103.7 FM with Mike Kennedy & Dave Dahl

Charity Scrimmage
For the first time, NCAA rule changes allow Division I program to host preseason charity scrimmage and WSU is seizing the opportunity to give back to the 316 community. Tickets for the charity scrimmage are $20 with proceeds benefiting Cheese Johnson's uJump Junior Mentoring Program and the Wichita Children's Home. Youths 18 and under and all Wichita State students and faculty will receive FREE admission. Seating is all general admission. The scrimmage is not included in the season ticket package.

Charles Koch Arena parking will be free and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The Format
The scrimmage with Drake will not be a prototypical game format, it will instead be an extended scrimmage featuring offensive and defensive segments, in-game scenarios and live play. Starting at 1 p.m., the teams will begin situational O-D-O (Offense-Defense-Offense) segments, followed by two 20-minutes halves that will feature a more traditional game. Following the 20-minute halves, the two teams will play another 10-minute scrimmage that will have a running clock, stopping only in the final minute.

About the Wichita Children's Home: A Home with a Heart
Since 1888, the Wichita Children's Home (WCH) has served as a safe haven for children and youth in crisis—providing compassionate, trauma-responsive care to children facing abuse, neglect, exploitation, trafficking, grief and homelessness.

Each year, Wichita Children's Home supports more than 1,800 children and youth—offering preventative services, emergency shelter, and comprehensive care. In the tradition of neighbor's helping neighbor's, Wichita Children's Home provides 24/7 temporary residential care for youth from birth through age 24, helping them find safety, stability and hope for their future.

Thank you for joining Wichita State Athletics in helping our communities children.

About uJump
uJump is a 501C3 Wichita non-profit junior mentoring and entrepreneurial program founded by former Wichita State All-American Lynbert "Cheese" Johnson. uJump focuses on 4th to 7th grade students in the Wichita and Andover school districts. uJump is a unique concept that concentrates on the "average" student who gets passing grades but are at risk of being overlooked. Students are selected for the program by school principals with feedback provided by their teachers. uJump has many great student success stories as a result of this program.

The Series
The former Missouri Valley Conference rivals will meet in the Roundhouse for the first time since Jan. 4, 2017. The Shockers have the longest series history with the Bulldogs out of any other Valley team. Wichita State and Drake have met 152 times with the Shockers owning a 104-48 record in the series. Wichita State is in Year 3 of the Paul Mills era, while the Bulldogs usher in a brand new era under Eric Henderson in 2025-26. Henderson arrives in Des Moines after six successful seasons at South Dakota State.

Single Game Tickets
The Shocker Ticket Office introduced new tiered ticket prices for single-game tickets last season, and that structure is back again in 2025-26, which includes lower-cost tickets to select games. Prices vary based on opponent, day of the week, tip-off time and other contributing factors.

This season brings the most affordable single-game pricing in nearly a decade – designed much like the newly released 2025-2026 season ticket pricing, making Shocker Men's Basketball accessible to every fan. Reserved lower bowl tickets start at $40 for select games, while general admission tickets that will go on sale 48 hours prior to each game are as low as $15.

Wichita State has decreased the average lower bowl ticket price by 27.5 percent from last season's pricing structure. For reference, the single game price for a reserved lower bowl ticket to a premiere game has decreased by 40 percent.

Group ticket discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more. The Shocker Ticket Office has also launched new hospitality experiences including food and beverage to elevate your gameday. To plan your group outing or special experience, please contact Abi Vito, Director of Ticketing, at avito@goshockers.com or 316-978-5580.

Wichita State's home schedule is prime with weekend opportunities to see the Shockers. In total, the Shockers play nine home weekend games in the Roundhouse, with seven of those on a Saturday. The seven home Saturday games are tied for the second most since the turn of the century. Only the 2003-04 season had more (8) home Saturday games on the schedule than the 2025-26 schedule (not including games played at INTRUST Bank Arena).

To purchase tickets, visit GoShockers.com/Tickets, call the Shocker Ticket Office at 316-978-FANS(3267) or visit the Ticket Office in person M-F between 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Fans can also request to be contacted by a ticket sales representative with more information here.
