WICHITA, Kan. – Wichita State Athletics has announced several gameday improvements for the 2025-26 men's and women's basketball seasons at Charles Koch Arena, focused on enhancing fan experience, improving convenience and continuing to expand both access and affordability for Shocker fans and students.
 
Happy Hour at Charles Koch Arena
Fans can enjoy Happy Hour drink specials before tip-off at bar locations along the main concourse:

• Men's Basketball: From doors open (90 minutes prior) until 30 minutes before tip-off
• Women's Basketball: From doors open (60 minutes prior) until tip-off

Happy Hour Specials Include:

• $5 Jim Beam
• $5 Smirnoff
• $5 Truly
• $5 Bud Light
• $7 Shocker Punch (now a regular beverage menu item)

Enhanced Entry & Mobile Convenience
To support smoother arrival and digital ticketing:

• Self-scan ticket stanchions are newly installed at entrances to allow faster, seamless entry. Event staff will also be present to scan tickets as necessary.
• The GoShockers Mobile App has been enhanced with expanded ticket management features, including easier transfers, storage and scanning. Check out FAQ's here.
• Student ticketing is also going mobile to allow easier access and to streamline the purchasing of additional tickets for guests. Check here for more information.

Expanded Student Meal Plan Access at Concessions
Students can now use meal plans, dining dollars, Shocker Dollars and faculty/staff meal plans at the concession stand near Section 116.
Included in this upgrade:

• Free regular popcorn for Unlimited Meal Plan holders
• Meal Swipe Combo Option:
  • 1 bottled beverage
  • Choice of Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders or Hot Dog
  • Choice of one side

This initiative expands access and makes attending games more affordable for students.
New Fan Favorites Coming to the Concourse
Fans will find new and refreshed menu items, including:

• Walking Tacos
• Churro Cart (available at select games)
• Shocker Punch now available as a standard beverage option
• SASO Souvenir Popcorn Bucket & Drink Cup
  • anyone at the Shocker level ($1,500+) qualifies for the SASO popcorn bucket/drink cup, with free popcorn refills and $2 soda refills all season long for all five of our ticketed sports. Those can be picked up anytime at the Shocker Ticket Office or on gamedays as well as outside of the ticket office at a pickup table. They are both reusable and can be brought in through security and must be empty upon arrival. This is a new benefit under our new annual fund structure.

Additional seasonal concession offerings may be added throughout the year.
Most Affordable Single-Game Ticket Pricing in Nearly a Decade
The tiered single-game pricing model returns for 2025-26, designed to keep Shocker Basketball affordable and accessible.

• Lower bowl reserved seats start at $40 for select games
• General Admission tickets released 48 hours before tip-off start at $15
• Average lower bowl pricing is down 27.5% from last season
• Premier lower bowl pricing is down 40% from recent years

Home Schedule Highlights
Wichita State's home schedule is prime with weekend opportunities to see the Shockers. In total, the Shockers play nine home weekend games in the Roundhouse, with seven of those on a Saturday. The seven home Saturday games are tied for the second most since the turn of the century. Only the 2003-04 season had more (8) home Saturday games on the schedule than the 2025-26 schedule (not including games played at INTRUST Bank Arena). Combined with the lowest single game ticket prices in nearly a decade, Wichita State basketball games are more accessible and affordable for Shocker fans.

Halftime acts in 2025-26 include Shocker Sound Machine, Cheer and Dance performances, Granny Basketball, Frisbee Dogs, Speed Painting, and a jaw-dropping balancing act.

Community Partner Tickets
More than 200 season tickets have been purchased for community partners by the Prill's, Hemphill's, Weatherbee's, Devlin's, Teague's and Dave Jabara.

The ticket donation will allow hundreds of mentor-mentee pairs from Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters and other community organizations including United Way affiliates, veterans, League 42 and Stand Together, ensuring even more people will get to experience the thrill of Shocker basketball at Charles Koch Arena.

The community organizations will distribute the donated tickets throughout the season, giving people across the Wichita area a chance to engage, dream, and experience the unique joy of being part of Shocker Nation.
