WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State (14-7, 6-3) beat Tulane (9-11, 1-8) 3-1 on Friday night at Charles Koch Arena. WSU won by scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-21, 25-20.
The Shockers recorded a .171 hitting percentage with 55 kills and 26 errors. The Green Wave hit .144, with 47 kills and 25 errors.
Brooklyn Leggett led the Shockers with 20 kills, hitting .474. This extended her streak of matches with 10 or more kills to 12.
Jordan Heatherly finished with 35 assists, the most by a Shocker.
Katie Galligan led the Shockers with 17 digs.
Wichita State takes on North Texas at 1 p.m. on Sunday at Charles Koch Arena.
