WICHITA, Kan. --Â Wichita State baseball placed five student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District Baseball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
Nate Adler,
Caden Favors,
Mauricio Millan,
Jordan Rogers and
Derek Williams were selected to the team. Adler graduated this spring with a 3.62 GPA in aerospace engineering. Favors (3.75 GPA), Millan (3.96 GPA), Rogers (3.68 GPA) and Williams (3.76 GPA) are all sport management majors.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced July 2, 2024.
