The Shocker duo of sophomore Theodora Chantava and junior Clara Whitaker will make the trip to Des Moines, Iowa and Drake University to compete in the Drake Invitational this weekend.
 
The Shockers will compete in both singles and doubles at the invitational across an unbracketed match format.
 
"This is a great opportunity for Clara and Theodora to get some matches in," said head coach Colin Foster. "Going out and playing in the fall is all about getting better, getting a lot of matches in, and that's what we're going to get at this event."
 
Chantava got some fall action in last week at the Pro Tennis Tour (PTT) $25K Lawrence meet, hosted by the University of Kansas at the Jayhawk Tennis Center in Lawrence, Kansas, where she went 2-2 in singles matches on the week.
 
The duo of Chantava and Whitaker got a match in at the Wichita State Fall UTR Event back on September 8th where they fell 2-6.
