The Wichita State women's tennis team challenges a pair of nationally-ranked teams this weekend in Stillwater, Okla.

The Shockers (5-2) will take on No. 49 Oklahoma State Friday evening at the Greenwood Tennis Center, then stick around Saturday morning for a neutral court matchup with No. 41 South Carolina.

OSU (4-3) was picked the 13
th in the preseason top-25 poll and has a pair of nationally-ranked singles players in Alana Wolfberg (No. 107) and Sofia Rojas (No. 118).

The Cowgirls have played in each of the last 10 NCAA tournament with Sweet 16 trips in five of the past seven seasons. All three of their losses this year have come to preseason top-25 foes.

WSU and USC meet for only the second time. A Shocker squad led by current OSU head coach Chris Young defeated the Gamecocks in the first round of the 2007 NCAA tournament in Coral Gables, Fla.

USC's lineup is anchored by two of the nation's best singles players. Ayana Akli and Sarah Gamner were 10

Harriet Hamilton (4-0 at No. 6 singles) has a team-best seven match winning streak going back to the fall season. Freshmen
Kristina Kudryavtseva (6-1 at Nos. 3-5) and
Theodora Chantava (5-1 at Nos. 4 and 5 singles) and won four and five straight, respectively.
