Kayce Litzau was named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll on Monday.

Litzau dished out 97 total assists in Wichita State's two matches at the Tru by Hilton Dayton Beavercreek Invitational, racking up 49 in a four-set win over Dayton and 48 in a five-set defeat at Wright State. All told, the native of Greendale, Wisconsin averaged 10.8 assists per set for the weekend, raising her season average to 9.88 (68th nationally). Litzau now has 415 helpers on the season, 58th most in the country.
Litzau also made her mark on the defensive side of the net, reaching double-figure digs in both matches with a team-high 13 at Dayton and 11 more against Wright State. She had now notched double-digit digs in seven of 11 matches this season. Against Wright State, Litzau set a new season high with six blocks, and also established a new high water mark with four service aces, one off her career high.

The Shockers return to action on Friday with the home and conference opener against Temple. First serve at Charles Koch Arena is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
