WICHITA, Kan. – The Wichita State men's tennis team swept Creighton in a 4-0 win at home on Friday.

The Shockers (4-2) clinched the doubles point with 6-1 and 6-2 wins at courts two and one. In singles,
Orel Ovil defeated his opponent in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 to continue the momentum. Shortly after, No. 119
Nicolas Acevedo claimed victory at No. 1, only dropping a single game, and
Luka Mrsic clinched the match for the Shockers with a 6-1, 6-4 win at court four.

The Bluejays drop to 1-4 on the season.

"It was a good team win for the guys," assistant coach
Brett Forman said. "They did a good job taking care of business. Our eyes are now on Nebraska for Sunday."

The Shockers return to the courts Sunday, Feb. 13 to play Nebraska at the Sid and Hazel Dillon Tennis Center in Lincoln.
