DALLAS, Texas -- The Wichita State women's tennis team will participate in a series of hidden duals Friday through Sunday at the SMU Invitational.
Â
Action from the Styslinger/Altec Tennis Complex begins at 9 a.m. each day.
Â
WSU and SMU are joined by Arkansas and UT Arlington in the four-team field.
Â
"This event has a round-robin team format, so it lends itself to creating and building that team chemistry, head coach
Colin Foster said. "It also gets us high-level competition against some quality opponents and the chance to try out some different doubles combinations."
Â
WSU has six players on campus this semester. After taking split squads to three previous events, Friday will mark the first time that the entire squad has competed together.
Â
"We've got our newcomers – Jessica and Kristina – acclimating well, and our returners are leading by example in practices," Foster noted. "Everyone's hungry to get better."
