TOPEKA -- Members of the Wichita State women's tennis team were a combined 15-0 in singles matches over the weekend while competing at an ITA Fall Circuit event, hosted by Washburn University.

The five Shockers won 28 of their 29 singles sets and also took three of their four doubles matches.

ITA Fall Circuit tournaments provide local matchplay opportunities for a mixture of collegiate, junior and professional players. Results do not count toward official ITA rankings or season records.

WSU officially opens its fall season Oct. 8-10 when its hosts the Shocker Invitational.
