NEW ORLEANS - No. 29 Wichita State men's tennis wasn't able to open up its AAC road trip with a win, falling 5-2 to No. 24 Tulane at the City Park Tennis Center on Friday.

Doubles
The Shocker's couldn't control doubles like they have done recently and dropped the point to Tulane.
Orel Ovil and
Luka Mrsic fell first by dropping a 6-3 decision on line two. No. 72
Murkel Dellien and
Marius Frosa's streak of four matches unbeaten came to an end to No. 45 Ewan Moore/Hamish Stewart, 6-4.

Singles
Tulane quickly took court three to go up 2-0, but
Nicolas Acevedo was able to give the Shockers some respite by defeating Kuenkler at line five, 6-3, 6-1. This was Acevedo's fourth win in a row. Frosa and Ovil both lost tough first set tiebreaks and couldn't recover in the second set.

Mrsic and Dellien were able to force third sets, but Mrsic ran out of steam and was beaten by de Alba, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4. Dellien had the most impressive win of the day with his comeback victory and dominant tiebreak performance over No. 29 Hamish Stewart, 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-1.)Â This extends his winning streak to 10 matches.
