Marta Bellucco picked up their second ranked win of the year by beating the Sun Devil's No. 50 Ilze Hattingh/Lauryn John-Baptiste, 6-4. ASU picked up the doubles point by winning a tiebreak versus the Shocker's third duo.
Singles
The Shockers couldn't get anything going in singles and the ranked Sun Devils took care of business quickly. They won at 1, 5, and 6 to end the match.
Marta Bellucco was unable to win her second set, 6-2, after being blanked in the first and Natsumi Kurahahsi was up 4-1 in the second before play was halted.

Marta Bellucco won their third straight doubles match by dispatching Houston's Mimi Kendall-Woseley/Laura Silsane, 7-6 (7-4.)
Jessie Zheng and Ting-ya Hsu bounced back from yesterday's loss to clinch the doubles point with a 6-4 victory.
Singles
The Cougars didn't allow the Shockers to pick up any more points in the match, but a few third sets were forced this time around. Natsumi Kurahahsi played well in her first set by winning, 6-3, but she faded off and Houston's Silsane was able to win in three and clinch the match, 3-6, 6-1, 6-0.
The top two players for the Shockers both forced third sets and were in good position to win their matches, but play was frozen when Houston clinched the fourth point.
