DALLAS - Ray Lo forced a third set against Texas Tech's Isaac Arevalo and the match point came down to his court, but he wasn't able to pick up the win and the Shockers lost to the Red Raider, 4-3, at the SMU Tennis Complex on Sunday.

Doubles
Stefan Latinovic and Luka Mrsic dropped only their second doubles match of the season when they lost to Arevalo/Corrier, 6-4. A loss at No. 3 sealed the point for the Red Raiders while the top pair of No. 32 Mukrel Dellien and Marius Frosa were forced to go unfinished while up, 5-3.
 
Singles
The Shockers gave themselves a chance to win the match with their singles play. Dellien kicked things off with a strong showing against Tech's #115 Collier for his first ranked win of the year, 6-4, 6-3.  The other half of the ranked duo also picked up another top court win when Frosa beat No. 37 Parker Wynn for his first ranked win of the season, 7-5, 6-1. Nicolas Acevedo gave the Shocks their third point when he won at No. 5, 6-4, 7-6.
 
The final three courts were all three set affairs. The Red Raiders won at No. 2 to pull within one and Orel Ovil then squandered a 4-3 lead in the third set to tie the dual at three all. All eyes turned to Ray Lo, but he was already down 5-1 in the third. Lo managed to win a serve, but he couldn't overcome the large deficit and lost, 2-6, 6-1, 6-2.
