MANHATTAN, Kan. - Wichita State women's tennis once again won the doubles point versus in-state Big 12 competition but were not able to top Kansas State and lost, 4-1, at the Body First Tennis Center on Friday.

The Shockers continue a nine-match road trip when they head to Abilene, Texas to face Abilene Christian on Feb. 24 before heading to Houston to face Rice on Feb. 26, Arizona State on Feb. 27, and AAC foe Houston on Feb. 28.
 
Doubles
Wichita State gave another spirited doubles performance on Friday. The tandem of Ting-ya Hsu and Jessie Zheng picked up the first win versus the Kansas State No. 2's, 6-4, to pick up their fourth win of the season. No. 23 Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva and Marta Bellucco won their first ranked win of the season by overcoming a late surge by No. 46 Karine-Marion Job/Maria Linares, 7-5.
 
Singles
The second, fourth and sixth pairs served off first in Manhattan. The Wildcats ended up winning these three courts and proceeded to get the clinch at No. 5 to conclude the match.
