Wichita State University baseball will host the annual First Pitch Banquet on Saturday, Jan. 29, in the Aetna Multi-Purpose Facility at Charles Koch Arena.
This year's event celebrates the 1982 Shocker baseball team, the first in program history to reach the College World Series and the winningest team in the history of college baseball. Members of the 1982 team will be present for a roundtable discussion about that historic season.

The event begins with a dinner and silent auction at 5:30 PM, with team awards, introductions, and an upcoming season outlook to round out the evening.
