Box Score LINCOLN, Neb. - Wichita State women's tennis lost the first game of its seven-match away swing by dropping a decision to Nebraska, 6-1, in Lincoln, Neb., at the Dillon Tennis Center on Saturday.
 
Doubles
The pair of Lingwei Kong and Ting-ya Hsu came into this match on a three-match win streak, but they were dispatched by Nebraska's Reifeis/Gallego, 6-0. The Huskers clinched the point on court three by beating Alexandra Lazarova/Natsumi Kurahashi, 6-2.
 
Singles
Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva picked up the only win for the Shockers against Nebraska's No. 2 Novak by beating her in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1. Esther Thebault fought hard and forced a third set against Ellie Kuckelman after losing the first set in a tiebreak. Thebault was unable to complete the comeback and fell, 7-6 (7-2), 3-6, 11-9.
