WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita State women's tennis hosts two more matches tomorrow when they face SMU at 11 a.m., and Kansas City at 4 p.m. at the Wichita Country Club.

Shocker Notables
- The Shockers ended an eight-match skid last week with wins over Tulane and UTA. This was the longest losing streak in the Colin Foster era and the first back-to-back win of the season.
- Lingwei Kong was named the AAC Women's Player of the Week after going undefeated in all competitions last week. She won the match point against Tulane's Adelaide Lavery, 6-4, 7-5, to break the Shockers losing streak and beat UTA No. 1 Polina Akimova, 6-1, 6-4.
- The Shocker duo of Marta Bellucco and Sarvinoz Saidhujaeva moved up to No. 28 in the doubles rankings based off a win over a Top 5 Tulsa pair in the fall and a now ranked Kansas duo.

SMU
- SMU participated in the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Ala. last weekend. They were defeated by No. 19 Wake Forest, 4-1, and Alabama in a close 4-3 match. The Mustangs also picked up a 4-0 win over Arizona.
- Although not ranked, the pair of Jackie Nylander and Isabella Tcherkes Zade are 8-2 on the year in the No. 1 doubles spot. Their highlight win was over a then-No. 31 Colorado duo.

Kansas City
- Kansas City last competed on Feb. 15 against Omaha in a 6-1 loss.
- Their only win on the season came against Bradley in a 5-2 decision.
- The Roos have yet to win more than two points in any of their matches.
